Air Dust Monitor is a dust indicator that specializes in monitoring dust generated from machinery operating indoors and outdoors in factories and construction sites.

It can be used to predict the start of dust leakage, prevent dust generation indoors and outdoors, and check the effectiveness of dust collection measures.

Our Air Dust Monitor adopts triboelectric (charge) method. Its main features are:

Dust concentrations of 0.1 to 1,000 mg/m3 are constantly measured, so even the slightest amount of dust is not overlooked.
It can be used to quickly detect dust generated from equipment, helping to manage the health of workers and quality control of products.

It is lightweight and comes with a handle, so you can freely carry it wherever you want. Measurement can be performed at multiple locations anytime, anywhere as needed without permanent installation.

Dust can be measured reliably even in high places, narrow places, and places where power supply is not available. Since it is equipped with a battery and wireless communication device, wiring work is unnecessary. It also contributes to the reduction of construction costs.

Air Dust Monitor is dust monitor with a self-suction function that enables dust measurement in environments with no air flow.

Dust taken in from the space by self-suction generates electric charge transfer (tribo) when it contacts or passes near the internal probe. The amount of charge transfer is detected as a relative concentration proportional to the dust concentration.

Check environment where dust is a concern. Select the separate type for high or narrow locations, or the battery/wireless type if remote wiring is not possible.

Place the unit horizontally on floor or hang it on wall. Direct suction hood toward dust-generating area as much as possible.

Wire power supply, analog output, and contact output to the converter. Separate type and battery/wireless type connect the sensor and converter with a dedicated cable.

Orient suction hood in a direction that facilitates dust collection. Select range from 1 to 9 settings, and set integration time if necessary.

When removing sensor for maintenance, probe can be easily pulled out by removing the two fasteners (red arrows) 

POINT!

Please work after turning off the power of the main unit.

For cleaning, simply wipe off dirt from the probe with a slightly damp cloth. If there is little dust leakage, it is not dirty, so it is recommended to clean it when the equipment is stopped.

POINT!

If you clean the probe as it is, it will short circuit the board, so turn off the power, wear insulated gloves, and work with the ground connected.
