Belt misalignment detector general
Even if we use automatic alignment device, it may be difficult to remove misalignment. What are the factors?
After automatic alignment device works (after adjustment), automatic alignment carrier returns to its original position. However, since cause of misalignment has not been completely eliminated, the misalignment will start again. This results in repeating misalignment → correction → misalignment → correction.
There are various causes of misalignment, such as leveling of installation, misalignment of conveyor installation, and uneven loading of conveyed items. It is best to eliminate the cause, but if that is difficult, we recommend using a forced >> electrically adjustable carrier .
What is the lowest temperature it can handle? I would like to use it in extremely cold regions as a safety switch for belt conveyors, stacker reclaimers, etc.
We have a track record of temperatures down to -30℃. However, conditions vary depending on model and environment, so please consult with us.
Can it be moisture resistant? It is assumed that safety switch will be used in a humid environment.
Standard microswitches are 85% moisture resistant. If it exceeds this, we will use microswitch that is 95% moisture resistant. However, specifications of microswitch may change due to model changes, so please check details each time.

Where should I install misalignment detector of Motor-operated adjusting carrier on belt conveyor?
Misalignment detector is installed at a location where there is a large amount of misalignment.
Actuator must be installed taking into account conditions of the conveyor.

How often should I perform maintenance on Motor-operated adjusting carrier?
Please inspect it once every six months. The main items to be inspected are as follows.
① Accumulation clogging in the drive unit,
② Roller rotation failure
③ Damage to boot (bellows) of cylinder
④ Worn or falling off of detector pulley.
Is it possible to install Motor-operated adjusting carrier on a reversible conveyor?
By adding an optional reversible relay, it can be used with reversible conveyors.
