Dust that may pose a health hazard to the human body is called specified dust, and dust that does not pose a threat to human health is called general dust.
Specific dust: asbestos, sulfur oxide, lead powder, cadmium etc.
General dust: cement powder, lime powder, iron powder etc.
About 5 years.
When using a typical monitor for a long time, the laser output decreases and the photosensor's light reception sensitivity decreases, but ours is equipped with an auto-calibration function, so you can use it for a relatively long time.
As a result, the service life is approximately 5 years.
Is maintenance required for Air Particle Monitor?
Powered by DC24V.
You can also connect it to an outlet using the optional AC adapter. Further, if installed inside a panel, it can be operated by supplying 24VDC directly to the terminal block from a switching power supply etc.
Instead of calibration, the normality needs to be confirmed.
In order to use the product with reliability, we recommend checking its normality at least once a year. There are two methods: either we dispatch a field engineer or the customer returns the equipment for us to check it at our factory. In either case, advance notice is required. Please feel free to contact us.
Yes, it does.
Our Dust Monitor and Air Dust Monitor uses a triboelectric method and we recommend to use them at humidity 40% or less. If the humidity is high, the essential static electricity will not be generated when there is friction and the product will not function. Additionally, if steam adheres to the probe and condenses, it will cause dust to adhere and electrodes to short-circuit, making it impossible to take accurate measurements.
Although we do not handle it, in the case of an optical type, if steam is generated, the light will scatter or it adhere to the lens, making accurate measurements impossible. It can also cause dust to adhere, causing drift and displaying high values.
Although the pipe diameter is not specified, the length of the detection probe is Max.1m.
Although there is no max. flow velocity, we have an experience of 30 m/s.
The pressure resistance is Max. 200kPa. But the humidity must be below 40%.
The probe length varies depending on the pipe diameter and flow velocity, but should be approximately 1/2 to 1/3 of the actual pipe diameter. For example, if the pipe diameter is 2m, the length will be 0.6m to 1m. However the maximum probe length is 1m.
If the probe becomes dirty, turn off the power, remove the sensor from the self-suction device and wipe the probe with a wet cloth. Easy maintenance is realized.
*Be sure to connect the equipment's ground wire during maintenance.
*Working with bare hands may short-circuit the equipment and cause it to malfunction.
Workers must always wear insulated gloves.

Can Air Dust Monitor be used even in heavy rain?
The protection structure is IP65 and it can be used outdoors.
If water drops of rain etc. enter the inside of the measurement duct, the measured value may increase. Also, since it is self-suctioning, mist components will also be suctioned. At this time, the measured value may also increase.
Please prepare a roof etc. if required.
What is the measurable area of Air Dust Monitor?
Measurement is possible at dust concentrations of 0.1 to 1000 mg/m3.
